Mr. Ji Liu currently serves as the Director of the Patent Litigation Department at CCPIT Patent and Trademark Law Office. His primary responsibilities encompass patent infringement lawsuits, trade secret infringement lawsuits, patent invalidation, administrative lawsuits, as well as search and consultancy services related to patents. He joined the firm in 2001 and has represented over a thousand patent applications and handled nearly a hundred patent invalidation and litigation cases. A civil infringement case he successfully handled was selected as one of the top ten IP cases by the Tianjin High Court in 2018. Liu Ji has studied European and US patent laws and practices at law firms in Germany and the United States, and further pursued courses on IP laws and treaties at the Cardozo School of Law in the United States.
