Geoffrey White serves Grouse Ridge Capital as Chief Innovation Officer & General Counsel and Advanced Construction Robotics as Chief Operating Officer, each affiliates of Brayman Construction Corporation. He also serves SilcoTek Corporation, an active participant in patent litigation, as a Board Member and General Counsel, which he joined after practicing as an attorney for McNees Wallace & Nurick.
With Grouse Ridge Capital, Geoff identifies and evaluates pre-seed investment opportunities in the $100K to $5M range. With Advanced Construction Robotics, Geoff coordinates the team’s innovation and commercialization efforts. Advanced Construction Robotics’ TyBOT and IronBOT are revolutionizing the construction of bridges; he helps to align the IP strategy to support that commercialization, while driving value.
Geoff has been named to IAM Strategy 300: The Worlds Leading IP Strategists multiple times, has spoken in countless venues worldwide on various aspects of value-focused IP strategy, is involved in ongoing IP focused research with the Institute for Manufacturing of the University of Cambridge, volunteers as an advisor for the Penn State Start-Up Leadership Network, volunteers as Board President for Keystone State Musical Theater, and volunteers as an Assistant Director for the Pitt Band.
Geoff has a true passion for value-enhancement of patents, with a focus on supporting organizational strategies, whether they be revenue production, licensing, enforcement, or business model innovation. His education includes an MBA from Cambridge, an IP LLM from George Washington, a JD from Widener, and a BS in Chemistry from the University of Pittsburgh.
