Lauren is lawyer on AbbVie’s Legal Transactions team, which advises and supports the AbbVie’s business development and venture teams on mergers, acquisitions, strategic collaborations, and venture capital investments. Before joining AbbVie in December 2023, Lauren served as Senior Transactions Counsel at BeOne Medicines (f/k/a BeiGene), where she was a core member of the Business Development team and worked predominantly on strategic collaborations and acquisitions.
Prior to joining BeOne Medicines, Lauren spent her legal career at three international law firms as a corporate lawyer focused mainly on life sciences technology transactions. She advised public and private life sciences clients around the globe on strategic intellectual property transactions and other commercial arrangements.
Lauren attended law school at Boston College, where she also earned her Bachelor of Science in German Studies and Finance. Lauren is a recipient of the Fulbright Fellowship in 2007 to Kassel, Germany, where she split her time between teaching and research.
