Adam Gill is a co-founder and Managing Director at GLS Capital, a commercial litigation finance firm with more than $750 million under management. Adam leads GLS Capital’s patent-related investments and sits on the firm’s Investment and Valuation Committees.
In 2023 and 2024 combined, GLS Capital’s counterparties achieved more than $1.5 Billion in verdicts, judgments, and settlements in patent matters in which GLS invested. Adam and GLS Capital are ranked Band 1 by Chambers & Partners for IP litigation finance, and Adam has been listed as one of the world’s top patent strategists by IAM every year since 2016.
GLS Capital has deep experience in semiconductors, hyperscale data center, and wireless technology, and particularly SEPs. Although many of their investments are confidential, one public example is that Taiwanese computer maker ASUS chose GLS Capital to monetize its 250+ family portfolio of 4G and 5G SEPs.
Prior to founding GLS Capital in 2018, Adam led patent investment teams at two of the world’s largest litigation finance providers. Before that, Adam was a partner in the patent litigation group of Kirkland & Ellis in Chicago.
