David Gosse manages and resolves complex patent disputes for Nokia, leveraging his expertise in patent law and litigation. He negotiates agreements including pre-litigation resolutions and litigation settlements, regularly representing Nokia in mediation proceedings. Prior to joining Nokia, Mr. Gosse spent over a decade in private practice, where he handled both district court litigation and Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) proceedings. His professional accolades include being named an Illinois Super Lawyers Rising Star for Intellectual Property Litigation and ranking among Patexia’s top 100 most active PTAB practitioners. As an adjunct professor at Chicago-Kent College of Law, Mr. Gosse teaches “Oral Advocacy for the IP Lawyer,” where he prepares the next generation of attorneys through simulated arguments starting from examiner interviews and finishing with Federal Circuit appeals.
