Georgia is a European and UK patent attorney in the Life Sciences and Chemistry group at Withers & Rogers. She advises a broad range of clients, including multinational corporations, small and medium-sized enterprises, individual inventors, and academic institutions.

Her practice spans the entire innovation journey, from drafting and prosecuting patent applications to providing strategic advice that aligns intellectual property protection with broader commercial objectives. She also advises on infringement and freedom to operate matters and has experience defending key technologies in both opposition and appeal proceedings.

Beyond her technical practice, Georgia actively engages with the innovation community through regular participation in industry-focused conferences, speaking engagements, and collaborative initiatives. Additionally, Georgia works closely with incubators and accelerator programmes, delivering webinars, advice clinics, and written resources on intellectual property fundamentals and best practices, particularly tailored to the needs of start-ups and academic institutions.

Before joining Withers & Rogers, Georgia worked in Switzerland for a scientific publishing company, where she collaborated closely with researchers and editors throughout the article preparation process. During this time, she also developed a working proficiency in French. Georgia holds a PhD from the University of Sheffield, where her research focused on polymer materials and biomimetic applications. She also earned a Master of Chemistry degree from the same institution.
