Kathleen is an effective business leader experienced working at the intersection of operations, business, and risk management. Known as a connector of ideas and people, she is an analytical thinker willing to ask the right questions to get to a resolution and enable a business to scale. She has deep experience across a number of industries, including software-as-a-service, construction, finance, clean technologies, and consumer goods. Her legal experience is broad and includes advising C-suite teams and boards on corporate governance, commercial contracts, M&A and business integration, compliance and risk mitigation, IP, litigation, investigations, and employment law.
Presently, Kathleen is working as a fractional general counsel and consultant at Corporate Legal Partners. In this role, she advises an array of clients on their legal issues including agreements, employment matters, trademarks, governance, and litigation. Prior to this role, she was the first Chief Legal Officer at ArisGlobal, a leading SaaS technology business in the pharmacovigilance space, and was the first General Counsel at Liberty Construction/FUSE Group, a national construction company. She also led the compliance function for GE Current, and GE Lighting, and managed some of the most complex litigation and investigation matters at GE Capital.
She resides in the Boston, Massachusetts area and has three adult children.
