Russell is a partner at Kirkland & Ellis LLP where he has spent his entire 38+ year career. He focuses his trial (jury, bench and ITC), appellate (Federal Circuit), and alternative dispute resolution practice on patent infringement and trade secret misappropriation matters, and disputes involving and relating to technology transfer, patent license, confidentiality and know-how agreements. His technology transfer and licensing practice includes structuring and negotiating both licensing-in and licensing-out transactions.
