Eda Stark is the Global Intellectual Property Transactions & Litigation Managing Counsel at Olympus Corporation, a global medical technology company committed to making people’s lives healthier, safer and more fulfilling. Eda advises and leads on the full spectrum of IP matters supporting global business operations. In this capacity, she oversees the structuring and negotiation of global IP agreements, manages cross-border patent-licensing and technology-transfer programs, and coordinates litigation strategies in multiple jurisdictions.
Prior to this role, Eda focused on complex patent litigation across a range of technologies in major global law firms. During that period, she represented clients in high-stakes disputes gaining deep experience in both substantive patent law and forum-selection, enforcement, defense, and risk-mitigation strategies.
With this background, Eda brings a practical, dual-lens perspective on global strategic partnerships, M&A and risk management—merging deal-structuring fluency with litigation readiness. She is especially interested in how organizations can align IP strategy with cross-border transactions, anticipate litigation exposure in foreign jurisdictions, and build scalable frameworks for global value creation and protection.
